uninstall

openclaw uninstall

Uninstall the Gateway service and local state (the CLI binary/package remains installed).

Use this when you want to remove background services (launchd/systemd) and clean up local data under ~/.openclaw/.

openclaw uninstall
openclaw uninstall --all --yes
openclaw uninstall --dry-run

Notes

  • Prefer --dry-run first to see what would be removed.
  • If you care about your workspace (skills/memory), back it up before deleting state:
    • default: ~/.openclaw/workspace
